Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue is so much more than fire and EMS. Guided by our values of Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Teamwork, and Service, Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue is honored to respond to the needs of the great communities we serve.

Across the district, Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue responded to 16,000 calls for 160,000 people over twelve months. That is one emergency call for every 10 people who live in the service area or 45 calls per day for a year.

In a catastrophic disaster, the population does not change, but the number of annual emergency calls is compressed into a small window of time. Imagine 16,000 or 30,000 emergencies crammed into a single day.

For the Paradise Valley Community and our local station, 25,000 people live within a five-mile radius of Station 33. A typical emergency would mean 2,500 calls per year or 7 per day for a year. In a disaster, compress 2,500 or 5,000 into a day.

That is why emergency volunteer groups like Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), Urban Search & Rescue (US&R), American Red Cross (ARC), Civil Air Patrol (CAP), and Sea Cadet Corps (SCC) are so important.

Through our continued efforts to help create a safer community, Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue offers a variety of community education programs to the communities we serve. In addition to these programs, we love to be involved in safety awareness fairs and events. We believe in preventing injuries and emergencies before they even happen.

If your group is interested in a specific virtual fire or life safety presentation or if you would like us to participate in an outdoor event please fill out the following form. We host and attend multiple events throughout the year and plan to start offering small community station open houses in the future!
